In the morden electronic information system, more and more equipments havebeen used in the airplane, which have made the frequency and energy demand greaterthan before, so did the interference. The development of the RF front end is towardingto integration, modulation and miniaturization, which have bring the the ElectroMagnetic Compatibility(EMC) problems in the equipments and between equipments.The method of solving the EMC problem is the usage of filter. The great usage of theFrequency Hopping(FH) mode in the radio have made the filter with FH and highpower character more popular.According to the demand of airborne communication system, a FH filter schemeusing electronic switch is determined and implemented. The main work are listedbelow:1.The synthesis theory and design procedure are detailly introduced, which haveincluded the design of generalized chebyshev filter design, coupling effecientsextraction and helix resonator design.2.Considering the requirement of ultrashort wave communication system, theseschemes which can realize the FH filter are compared and analyzed, also did theelectronic switch. The scheme using the electronic swith is determined, so do its thecharacteristic and application.3. According to the desired index, a FH filter using bandpass filter bank is designand manufactured.The design and3-D simulaiton of filter bank are finished. The resonator is usingthe helix resonator, which can be designed using the method described in chapter2. Theelectronic switch is realized by microwave PIN, and the control unit is manufacturedwith all control instruction realized. The FH filter which have eight bands aremanufacted. All the modules are tuned at last, and every index of the FH filter ismeasured, whose parameters have meet the demand of the system.
