With modern wireless communication technology development and diversificationof people to the demand of communication mode, those microwave filters with theadvantages of low cost and high performance, miniaturization, easy to design,which getmore and more favors. To the military communication, the major means ofanti-interference in wireless communication is the frequency hopping technology, and ifthe system with the right center frequency and the band-pass filter can be fast tracking tothe change of the hopping frequency, which can obviously improve anti-jammingperformance of the system. Because of this frequency hopping communication as oneway of the main modern military communications, so it becomes the hot spot in thecurrent domestic and foreign research. In this paper the developed frequency hoppingfilter works in30MHz to90MHz, which is located between primary antennas andmixers as filters in the receiving system whose function is getting rid of the disturbedspectrum and obtaining effective spectrum in the signal received from the antenna, so asto improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the receiver.This paper’s main task is to complete the research and design of30-90MHz digitalwideband LC hopping filter. Owing to the strict requirements that must be low insert loss,broad bandwidth, almost constant bandwidth and small size, it will be a little difficult. SoI use the network theory and add the ideal transformer in the filter design. And executedthe optimization by the use of ADS software. At last, it gets a good result.In brief, this article conveys a systematic research of the hopping filter. Thedesigned sample whose performance is fine and the sample has the good value in theengineering applications.
