For the time being, for its broad application prospects, the Internet of Thingstechnology has been widely applied in the field of logistics, transportation and industrialcontrol. As the core technology of the Internet of Things, Radio frequency identification(RFID) technology has gained unprecedented opportunity for development. At present,low-frequency and high-frequency RFID technology is relatively mature, which hasdominant position in the RFID market and a wide range of applications in domestic.UHF RFID has larger development potential for its further identification distance, fasterrecognition and good ability of anti-collision features. However, UHF RFID technologyis still in its infancy and has not made a complete industrial chain. Contraposing thisfact that most of the Internet of Things terminal in current market has single function,this paper designs a multi-protocol and multifunction handheld terminal that iscompatible with three high frequency protocols and two UHF protocols, besides,barcode recognition is designed in the terminal.At first, this thesis introduces the basic concept of the IOT, application mode of thehandheld Internet of Things terminal, and the significance of the work.Secondly, the overall architecture, including system hardware architecture,software architecture, system platform selection, and the entire system developmentprocess, is designed in accordance with the specific needs of the subject,Thirdly, the paper introduces the implementation of the driver and middle controlprograms about barcode scanning module, HF RFID module and UHF RFID module.Then, the GUI application programs are designed for the three modules based onthe QT platform and the PC host program. Similarly, on the basis of analysis of thefunction and requirements, the user interface and PC programs are designed.Finally, the paper builds the system test platform, tests the functionality of thevarious modules, gives analysis of test results, and makes the summary and outlook.
