Today’s society, meteorological services and people’s civil and industrial activities are inseparable, and meteorological acquisition plays an important role in national defense, social progress and economic development. At the same time, with the implementation of national sustainable development strategies, meteorological acquisition technology is increasingly important for us; with the changing meteorological information needs, the traditional observation mode has been unable to meet people’s needs, so automatic meteorological data acquisition technology in China has been well developed; meteorological data acquisition system performance directly affects the performance of the entire weather station, so how to achieve high-precision measurement and reliable data acquisition system, must be extremely meaningful research direction in the future.This article researches on unmanned meteorological data acquisition system based on ARM. The main feature of these systems is that they can have automatic and long-term task to run which is set by users in the case of unmanned.This article firstly describes the general overview of the embedded system. Then it analyses the functional and non-functional requirements of the project. Next describes the design of the driver layer, and in this section, it introduces the transplantation of the uC/OS operating system and the detailed design of each module of the driver layer. Then it introduces the detailed design of the system’s application layer, and this section includes system architecture design, system scheduling scheme, the detailed design of each module and the relationship between the application later modules. Next it introduces the system implementation, and in this section there are compilation environment, project files, unit testing, system testing and implementation of the project. At last, summarize the work, but also point out the areas for improvement in the system.
