Based On Embedded Wince Platform

Embedded system is the combination of computer technology, electronic technology, and special application. This is why embedded system is full of continuous innovation. It is different from PC system while it is based special application. According to this, the hardware and software of embedded system must be specially designed.Microcontroller Unit is the core of embedded system. It is based on a kind of CPU core such as ARM, and integrated with necessary peripheral equipment. MCU is low cost, high reliability, compact size. There are many kinds of MCU, and the most popular one is the ARM series.Previously operating system was not included in embedded system, and the simple cycle control program mainly dealt with request from exterior. But the complexity of embedded system makes OS essential. OS provides all kinds of services based on hardware. If these services are used in a special application we can get great efficiency.The object of the project is to implementing the experimental platform based on ARM9 and Windows CE. NET, including the CE serial driver, infrared communication program and SD card I/0 control program.At the end of the dissertation the conclusion and prospect of the whole Systems are given.
