Designment And Development Of Embedded And Secure Operating System And Its Storage Management

The flying development and far-ranging applications of Embedded Internet bring a new challenge to the embedded systems which are used in the area of electric application, because it brings people convenience and efficiency along with the problem of system security. According to the deficiency of security that exists in the traditional embedded operating system, this paper designs and develops a secure (C2 level of TCSEC) and real-time embedded operating system which is used in the area of electric application, and it is named as ESOS (embedded and secure operating system). It not only assures the security in Internet, but also meets the requirements of real time and stabilization.Firstly, this paper introduces the developing history, actuality and the trend of embedded operating system. Then it points out the study background, and comments the values of studying and developing ESOS from the three aspects of knowledge property, learning study and economy benefit.During the process of general design to ESOS, this paper makes the requirement analysis based on the electric system firstly. Then it chooses the means which build the kernel and its security according to the principles of designing secure operating systems and embedded ones. Further more, it divides ESOS into some modules, and makes sure the functions of them finally. This paper mainly designs and develops the modules of memory management and file system which are called as storage management together.In the aspect of security mechanism, this paper refers to the developing method of conventional secure operating system, and builds the security strategies after making an analysis on the security requirements of C2 level detailedly. Then it chooses an appropriate security model and makes a necessary amendment on it based on analyzing some scurity models. After doing these, it makes a corresponding narration between security strategies and security model. Finally, it designs the security mechanisms which are related with the storage management of ESOS, and a corresponding analysis is made between security model and security designs.During the process of designing and developing memeory management, this paper applies the buddy system to allocate and recycle memory space skillfully, and settles out the problem of memory leaking.
