In recent years, mobile terminal equipments with touch screen, such as smart phone andtablet PC, are developing rapidly, They gradually change the way of our lives. With thewidespread use of touch screen, many new technologies of human-computer interaction areinvented, Undoubtedly handwriting interaction is one of the most convenient technologies.But people are tired of the monotonous trajectory of handwriting. They expect differentstyles of calligraphy, especially the style of brush pen. There are some researches on thedigital trajectory calligraphy generation, but the effect is far from satisfied. How to takeadvantage of the limited information to restore the diversity of calligraphy is a verychallenging research topic.In this paper, we summarize many previous researches in digital ink and other relatedfields, Besed on the practicality, our research is mainly about the calligraphy generation andencoding of handwriting trajectory. The following gives the main contents of this paper,1. We propose the brush and velocity model based real-time calligraphy generationmethod, using the velocity model control the changes of stroke’s width, and suppressionalgorithm for smooth strokes and Bifeng generation. We also improve the Bezier interpolationmethods to smooth strokes and ensure real-time.2. Analyzing the real-time generation’s insufficient, we present a method of strokesreconstruction based on real-time generation. It combines with the characteristics ofcalligraphy, analyzes the type of stroke and personalized features, taking some adjustment ofstroke to get better effect.3. For brush base rendering is relatively slow, We proposes contour extraction methodsbased on the maximum distance, this method is fast make good effect. We also use Beziercurve coding the contour in order to save storage space.4. We also designed a handwriting calligraphy and edit system based on Androidplatform, including handwriting calligraphy generation module and editing module, userinterface etc. We also present some methods to adapt different mobile terminal screen sizes,ensure different terminal devices have the same effect.Experiments show that the digital trajectory calligraphy style generation method is faster, better results and is suitable for mobile terminal devices, and it can be applied to thehandwritten notepad, font generation, instant messaging handwritten calligraphy creationexercises.
