Rumors Spread In The Study Microblogging

The rumor is almost the same age with the history of the human. During the World War II, the foreign Scholars have carried out a systematic study of the rumors; Chinese scholars also have summarized and discussed the rumors. With the advent of the Internet and the development of media technology, micro-blog has become the birthplace of rumors. The spread of rumors in the micro-blog become increasingly strong, which not only causes pollution to the network environment of public opinion, but also affected the social order and people’s lives seriously.This article is on the basis of both Chinese and Western rumor research results, according to a rumor of Sina Micro-blog which is called "Confessions of a public security bureau", and analyze five aspects of rumors, which include the communication subject of rumors, content analysis of rumors, life cycle of rumors, content feedback and the reason by means of case analysis, comparative study, depth interviews and interdisciplinary research method. Through the study, researchers found as the main body of "opinion leaders" the users who add V not only are the spread of rumors, but also play a key part in refuting a rumor. The text of rumors is diversified which usually contains words with strong emotional content, and become constantly enriched through forwards and reviews. The rumor includes four stages which is the birth-latency--outbreak period-recession in the life cycle. Since it has "long tail" in recession, it is apt to cause secondary transmission. The small amount of questionable sound will be as noise to be ignored, when the "information flow waterfall" formed. The micro relationship gradually replaced the authenticity of the information, in the dissemination process. The Micro-blog rumor is mainly affected by the spread of motivation, cognitive framework, micro-relations spiral of silence, collective unconscious and gatekeepers; the rumor has six characteristics such as fragmentation of text and issues, strong" interaction "," zero time "dissemination of a variety of form and content, double Anonymous as well as monitoring difficult when it spreads.This paper puts forward the methods to solve the problem of rumors spreading so fast in the micro-blog. At first, everyone should strengthen self-discipline and we should call on opinion leaders in micro-blog to correctly guide public opinion. Moreover, the government should publish official information timely, and play an active role in the micro-blog platform. Third, it needs the moderate "chilling efficiency." Fourth, the groups for refuting rumors should be standardizing, and the union to dispel rumors including the government, the media, websites, and individuals should be established.
