With the rapid development of China’s economy and increase of nationalincome, tourism industry in China has developed rapidly in recent years, however,the phenomenon that the relative lack of tourism service resources has appeared withthe increase of visitors every year, in which the tour guide service is particularlyserious. Currently, the main form of tour guide service is the artificial guide, which isnot only time-consuming and laborious, but also exists the shortcomings such as poorservice, noise pollution, language barrier, interference among tourists and so on,therefore researching the electronic tour guide system has become an urgent matter.But the guide content of current existing electronic tour guide system was less, singlefunction and its navigation operation is tedious, which can’t meet the requirements oftourists on tourism quality. Therefore, this paper takes the Android smartphone as thehardware platform, takes the QRcode as the information carrier, studies the encoding,preprocessing and recognition of handset two-dimensional code, the Androidarchitecture and scenic spot electronic ticket system based on QRcode encoding,mobile phone map localization, path planning, tracking and voice navigation in depth,designed and implemented a set of smartphone guide system.Based on the research of QRcode encoding principle and Android systemtechnology theory in depth, a set of customized scenic spot electronic ticket systembased on QRcode encoding on Android smartphone platform was designed, whichcombined with the alipay secure payment service, and the feasibility of the system isverified by experiment.For the problem of the QRcode image obtained by mobile phone cameracontaining redundant background information and noise which makes it too difficultto identify, on the basis of analysis and contrast of the traditional QRcode positioningmethod, a preprocessing method based on the maximum connected region wasproposed, the experimental results prove the locationing speed is greatly increased.Due to the great computational complexity in image preprocessing and decodingpart, this paper realized it under the Android NDK platform, which could acceleratethe QRcode decoding speed. Finally, under the Eclipse development environment and Android SDK, the smartphone guide system was built, which included scenicspot electronic ticket system, QRcode recognition system and ecletronic map module.It provides multimedia network services like voice broadcast, text instruction, picturebrowsing, video instruction, telephone inquiry, etc.it still has many functions such asmobile phone map positioning, place searching, route planning, voice guidance, etc.The experimental results verify the practicability and feasibility of this guide system.
