With the rapid popularization of smart mobile phone and the vigorous development ofmobile Internet,the MIM has entered the new stage, especially it’s reform and innovation inrecent years, it is a great breakthrough in the form of communication, social relations andmultifunctional application. However, with the rapid development of MIM at the same time,user often feel uncomfortableness because of the interface experience or the omissions offunctions. The quality of the user experience has become the key factor whether MIMproducts could be further development.On the basis of UCD theory, the paper are in-depth studying and Discussing on MIMproduct design. Firstly, the paper makes a comprehensive summary and the induction with thedevelopment stage, the typical products, future trends and potential threats from MIM,take anoverview with UCD thought and related theory, and expounds that UCD is vital to mobileproducts; secondly, the paper has been analyzed and compared carefully with three levels–structure, skeleton and surface with MIM production design experience from product angle;again, according to the user interview and questionnaire, make a detailed interpretation withgoals and needs, motivation when user using the MIM product, and determine the priority ofrequirement by four quadrant analysis, create the true user factors for MIM product design;finally, with the two main line based on the product and the user, put forward some pertinentprinciples for MIM product’s structure, skeleton and surface design, and make a flow like"user investigation-create personas-describe the scene line-abstract the requirement-ensure the function-low fidelity prototype-high-fidelity prototype-design evaluation" to MIMproduct design practice.Research focus on how to make MIM products to meet the growing user experiencerequirements, let MIM software to be useful, easy to use and high satisfaction. In this paper,the goal is promoting MIM product experience, the basis is the user-centered design idea, andwith the method of practice counter-evidence theory, provide preliminary advice for the MIMproducts design and development later.
