As the mass consumer goods, the mobile phone has the very high popularity inour daily life, due to the advantages of transmission, the mobile phone has developedfrom a kind of communication tools to mass media,the consumption patterns alsoturned from the traditionally function to the symbol,become a cultural phenomenon inthe consumer society.In this paper, from the perspective of the symbol consumption, trying to discusspeople’s behavior of mobile phone consumer, break the existing research of theintegrated model which focusing on media research, breakthrough on the economicsof consumer research, from the perspective of consumption culture explanation phonesymbol value the culture behind the consumer attributes,interpretation contemporarypeople’ consumption psychology and hot phenomenon of mobile phone, to inspire thepeople’s consumption on mobile phone.The symbolic value of phone is not already exist, the symbolic meaning beimplanted into a mobile phone by means of product design and mass media, throughthe consumers decode,showing fashion、aestheticization、simulacrum of the symbolicspectacle, Play with the construction of self-identity, cultural identity and ideology ofconsumption function.In this process,people reveal the personal status, social relations,personality characteristics through the mobile phone, in society’s cultural interaction,the symbol meaning be reconstructed or strengthen, stimulate people’s consumptiondesire. The symbol create equality, promotion, personality, unique consumptionillusion for consumers, Mobile advertising through information call mechanismconstantly construct the main body of consumption, the marketing strategy fictionalpeople purchasing needs, symbol consumption ideology of metaphor to reshape theimage of the, mobile phone reconstruction the relationship between human andmobile phone, people immersed in the feast of symbol consumption of mobile phones.
