Nanostructures have lots of properties, such as high specific surface area, strong adsorption and excellent catalytic efficiency and so on, which have beenused widely and has broad application prospect, especially in the field of thebiosensor. Pt nanoparticles (PtNPs) and Au nanowire arrays (ANs) used in glucosebiosensor can improve sensitivity and current response to glucose, which providesnew inspiration for the preparation and development of glucose biosensor. The main content is as follow:Highly ordered ANs were prepared by electrochemical deposition on theporous anodic alumimum oxide (AAO) and the influence that ANs parameters (suchas: cathodic current, deposition time) on the morphology was studied by ScanningElectron Microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the different cathodic currentand deposition time rained the different influence on the morphology of ANs. Whenthe cathodic current is0.001A and the deposition time is600s, the ANs showed thebest morphology. The modification of ANs with PtNPs by electrochemical deposition resultedthe ANs/PtNPs electrode. The electrochemical properties of ANs and ANs/PtNPselectrodes were compared by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that PtNPsmodification enhances electrochemical catalytic activity of ANs to H2O2. Optimumdeposition time of ANs/PtNPs biosensor for H2O2electrochemical response wasachieved to be150s.The subsequent surface physical adsorption of GOD on the nanowire arraysresulted the ANs/PtNPs/GOD electrode. The electrochemical properties ofANs/GOD and ANs/PtNPs/GOD electrodes were compared by cyclic voltammetry, and both amperometric and potentiometric detection of glucose were performed. The results showed that the optimum deposition time of ANs/PtNPs/GOD biosensorfor both amperometric and potentiometric detection of glucose was achieved to be150s at deposition current of1×10-6A. A sensitivity of0.365μA/mM with a linearrange from0.1mM to7mM was achieved for amperometric detection, while forpotentiometric detection the sensitivity is33.4mV/decade with a linear range from0.1mM to7mM. GOD was modified on the nanowire arrays by crosslinking method, resultingthe ANs/PtNPs/GOD biosensor. The ANs/PtNPs/GOD biosensors which wereachieved by physical absorption and crosslinking method for amperometricdetection of glucose were compared. The results showed that the biosensorachieved by physical absorption had excellent electrochemical catalytic propertiesbut the poor repeatability, while the biosensor achieved by crosslinking method hadpoor electrochemical catalytic properties but the excellent repeatability.
