This paper studies an electric vehicle battery for high-speed boxing parallel robot systemdesign.Comparing with the existing electric vehicle batteries boxing program, this system hasthe advantages of larger work space with institutional volume ratio, good mechanicalproperties, simple structure, low production costs, easy to control system. The main work andresearch summarized as follows:(1) Based on the feature of the electric vehicle battery high-speed packing process, thebattery packing system has been overall designed and two specific solutions have been givenas well.(2) The X2parallel robot’s kinematics model has been built, and its kinematics designhas been done; The X2parallel robot’s inverse dynamics model has been built, and itsdynamic design has been done, because of which the parameters of the servo motor can bedetermined; Analyzing the sizes and limitations of battery and electrical box in the batterypacking process, the X2parallel robot’s size and structure of the key parts have been designed; Its transmission system’s structure has been designed and the appropriate screw drivemechanism has been selected as well.(3) Analyzing the limitations of the battery and internal structure of the electric box, thebattery fetching plan which can match the conditions has been obtained. Then the batterycrawl’s terminal actuator specific structure and assembly diagram have been designed;Inaddition, the battery and electric box deliver system as well as the positioning device of thebattery crawling, have been designed.(4) Based on the path of battery crawl job, the path of the moving platform has beenplanned out; By means of NIlabview+solidworks, the parallel robot system’s battery fetchingexperiments has been done; Utilizing the PC and NI motion control card to control the batterypacking process, the parallel robot system’s hardware and software has been designed. This research work has the important guiding significance to the future production ofelectric vehicle battery packing technology.
