In recent years,the market demand of domestic industrial robots has increased rapidly,and AGV has been developed rapidly and widely used as a transport robot,and its development prospect is very considerable.As an important part of the AGV vehicle system,the battery management system is the link that connects the battery group,the vehicle management system and the charging device.It not only provides a safe and reliable use environment for the battery group,playing the best performance of the battery,prolonging the battery life,but also provides reliable battery data for the vehicle management system in order to make the best charge and discharge decision.AGV usually uses lithium-ion battery as a power source.Therefore,in order to improve the performance of AGV,it is necessary to research management system of lithium-ion battery.In this paper,the functional modules of the battery management system are studied,and the hardware implementation and software design are analyzed.In order to ensure the accuracy of the data collection,security,and real-time,TI company's safety micro controller was adopted on the hardware.In the battery management system,the estimation of battery charge state and how to quickly and effectively balance the battery are two major difficulties.This paper puts forward some improvement on these two problems.The difficulty of estimating battery charge state is that the charge and discharge process of the battery is a complicated electrochemical process.In this process,the battery charge state is affected by many factors.In this paper,battery model with Matlab/simscape variable parameters makes the model more close to reality,using the extended kalman filter algorithm to estimate the battery charged state.The simulation results prove that estimated error below 3%,conforming to the requirements.The active equilibrium is adopted in the equilibrium process to avoid energy loss.Group the battery.First balance in the group and then balance between groups,making group can be balanced independently at the same time to increase the equilibrium velocity.The experiment proved that the equilibrium method is effective,the dispersion of the battery decreased to 0.8% in a short time,meeting the requirements.
