It is indisputable proposition that China’s television should be responsible forleading the public opinions. It is being required not only by our Government’smainstream ideology, and demanded by development of television media itself, butcraved deeply from the bottom heart of mass audience. However, regarding to theiferce competition among the market of television rating, the television flatters closelythe audience rating under the survival pressure, then cause a seires of content’s qualityvulgarization, program’s subject negative and casual arrangement, etc,. So, theseissues roughly lead to the absence of television’s guidance then, at last effects its dutyand responsibility.Visible, now5television media not only plays and records the generallurkers role,but must take a seires of important social and public functions, of whichthe pirmary one is to be guided to society by improving the way television guidingforce to promote building a harmonious social significance.This paper is being studied under the new development situation of our society’sstatus quo. Meanwhile, it is closely related with the latest strength of televisionguidance in Jiangxi Province. More studies are based on Bulletin: About NewReading and Watching(2009-2012), presented by Jiangxi Administration Bureau ofRadio and Television,which was honored as one top grade publication by StateAdministration of Radio,Film, and Television. The issues of the strength of televisionguidance are being analyzed under classic theories of Communications Science. Thefollowing studies mainly include four dimensions, Theory, Practice, History and itsStats quo. Then it reveals the stats quo of television’s guidance strength,and presentsthe cause of its absence, therefore the essay offers practical solutions for improvingtelevision’s guidance strength based on laws perfection, human resource strategy andmedia literacy.
