Using The Internet To Promote The Information Integration Of Urban And Rural

With China’s entry into the information age, dual structure of urban and rural areas showed the imbalance of more and more significant. Rural-city there is a huge difference in all aspects of economic and cultural. The integration of urban and rural areas is a powerful means to accelerate the process of urbanization and to promote the new rural construction. The way used Internet technology to promote information, economic and cultural integration is core of this paper. This article bases on a survey of the rural areas of southwest China, designs a new model of rural development-Farmers’Network plan. This paper argues that the Farmers’Network is able to effectively help farmers to increase income, enhance self-confidence and inspired by the wisdom of the people. Also proposed that new rural construction and urbanization are both important to solving the three rural issues in China.
