Research On Farmers’ Information Needs And Information Behavior Of China Based On Empirical

For many years, the issue of farmers is an important problem for our country that needed to be solved. In recent years, promoting the agricultural informatization, increasing farmers’income and building a new socialist countryside have become a hot topic in academia and even the whole society. Farmers’ information needs and information behavior based on farmer’s perspective gradually attracted widespread attention. Our country has first came up with the issue of agriculture, countryside and farmers in official form of central file in2006, and a new socialist countryside development strategy has been put forward, from then on further attention has been paid to farmers’ information needs and information behavior research. Decades of research initially formed a set of referenced research methods, and research methods that based on empirical study also gives greater practical value and development space to theoretical research. After the analysis of the literature on information needs and information behavior at home and abroad, this paper based on pre-completed questionnaire, combined with knowledge of statistical information, behavioral science, cognitive science and other related disciplines knowledge, studied information needs and information behavior of farmers in our country. The study clearly defined related definitions, analyzed characteristics and influencing factors of the information needs and information behavior of farmers, then countermeasures to improve the farmers’information needs and information behavior is given on the basis of empirical. The paper re-examine our farmers’ information needs and information behavior from the point of actual, and carried out a systematic statistical analysis of the survey sample relying on statistical knowledge. The practice and theory combined with each other, not only give theoretical system practical significance, but also provides a theoretical guidance for practice research.In this paper, the main contents include the following five parts:The first part describes the purpose and significance of this study, research status at home and abroad, and research ideas and methods, this part is the theoretical basis for the article.The second part defines the concept of the farmers’ information needs and information behavior in this article, and analyses the relationships and characteristics of the information needs and information behavior of farmers on the basis of relevant literature reading and summarizing. This provides a solid theoretical support for the study of farmers’ information needs and information behavior.The third part analyses the questionnaire content in statistical ways. Based on the results of the analysis, this part summarizes the characteristics and influencing factors of farmers’ information needs and information behavior, reflects the status quo of farmers’ information needs and information behavior.The fourth part gives suggestions to enhance farmers ’information needs and suggestions to improve farmers’ information behavior based on the analysis result in the third part.The fifth part gives the conclusions of this paper, and describes the limitations of this study and further research directions.
