Research And Application Of JasperReports In Logistics Provider Management Platform

With the development of the logistics industry, in order to survive in the competitive market, logistics providers must have to strengthen the internal management, analyze the business data and make right decisions as quick responses to the market changes. Report is a kind of information has been concluded, processed and counted. Report reorganizes the business data and presents it in an intuitive way so that the decision makers could quickly get the current business state of the enterprise. That’s why report is very important for the logistics industry management and internal control.This article introduces the research background and the status of research reports at home and abroad firstly, and shows the source of project and put forward its research significance. Secondly introducing the related technologies about the report of JasperReports, mainly includes exploring JasperReports technology, introducing iReport tools and J2EE technology. On this basis, introducing the method of JasperReports report development in detail, including report templates, data sources, the reporting system structure of JasperReports and its development process. The JasperReports report template is accomplished by the iReport tool which can provide a visual interface, the components provided by iReport are sufficient to complete the report template’s production, and it will generate the jasper file format after compiling the JRXML file format, then applying the jasper file to J2EE framework to complete the report. Besides, analyzing and designing the JasperReports report requirements in the logistics business management platform. Finally introducing the JasperReports report implementation process about the requirements business interface and the report style in the logistics business management platform.The preparation of theoretical study establishes the foundation for subsequent reporting, In the process of the research, we integrate the JasperReports technology into the system successfully. And we combine the virtues of the MVC design pattern and J2EE platform when designing report forms based on JasperReports technology in this thesis. Practice shows that utilizing JasperReports to develop Web report application is feasible. The advent of iReport tool also has contributed to report development.
