In our daily life and production, particles is the most common material and product existing form. It can be widely used in mining, food processing, papermaking, paints, medicine science, pigment, and fine chemical industry. As is known to all, granularity affects the benefit of the factory, so the accuracy rating of the particle measurement has a great practical value on granularity analysis. Over the years, after a lot of exploration and repeated experiment, Researchers have gained a wealth of experiences and put forward many feasible effective measure methods:Sieve method is the oldest method of measurement; it is easily influenced by artificial and measuring tools. Sedimentation is time-consuming and uneasy to operate. Laser method has high precision and efficiency, but it is not suitable for large-scale industrial production because of high cost. Light resistance method is convenient and quick, its resolution rate is high, but the measurement range is narrow relatively.Nowadays, computer vision has played a more and more important role in the process of industrial visualization, especially the digital color image processing. There are three levels during the process of image processing----image processing, image analysis and image understanding. Among them, the division of image plays the intermediate role and it is the key to deal with the image of particle. Researchers have got a lot of experiences of gray image through continuously exploration and practice during the past few years, but they haven’t got the rich information of the digital color images. As is known to all, the digital color image not only provides the brightness information but also the color information that accords with people’s visual characteristics, such as chroma. Nowadays, represent the objective world with the digital color image is convenience, real, and practical. At the same time, with the improvement of the resolution rate of the electronic products and the decline of the price, electronic products are more and more widely used in industrial production which was regarded as luxury.To this end, this article research goal is to build compound pendulum jaw crusher primary crushing crude ore into the material and the discharging mouth of the primary particle degree of the crushed product implementation online visualization monitoring model, for jaw crusher visualization of the process of production in the coarse crushing material monitoring lay the foundation.The research of visualized monitoring of crude ore primary crushing material granularity and granularity in the process of coarse crushing research concerning is relatively rare. Because of the irregular of the crude ore material shape, the disordered distribution and the uniformly humidity, we have to divide the complex adhesive image during the digital color image processing, it is quite difficult. So this article proposed some pioneering researching work in this aspect.First of all, this article presents some image segmentation method of some researchers’. Among them, there is an important method:use image image processing software analyses the dispersion particles and primary particle. This method, in some practical fields, is more accurately and quickly to confirm an outline of the particles, and comes out the result of granularity analysis and calculation.Secondly, this article provides the methods of the acquisition and transmission of the primary crushing ores digital color image information, uses the ImageJ software to deal with the image, and analyses the granularity characteristics of the crude ore digital color image of the primary crushing. This article proposes that divide the image with the collected boundary, Euclidean distance map (EDM) and pick up Freehands selection tools, etc; then analyses and calculates the granularity and gets the results.Thirdly, this article puts forward the method of granularity measurement based on ImageJ software, uses the flashlight of Canon IXUS115HS as the light source, adjusts the camera to the right degree and focal length, gets the primary crushing particles by spot sampling, puts the obtained image into the computer, loads to the ImageJ, calculates the equivalent projection area of the particles, and then gets the parameters of the particle distribution histogram.In a word, this article uses the image processing software---ImageJ, processed the digital color image of the primary crushing crude ores, proposes the method of granularity analysis calculation, and lays a foundation for the visualization of coarse crushing production.
