After the20th century, its unique advantage of the spread of television media quickly becoming the mainstream mass media on behalf of their immediate scene rendering, sound image double spread characteristics of interpersonal communication platform, media compatible, linear continuous spread of television media has a unique of the field background. Along with China’s rapid economic development and the rapid enhancement of the comprehensive national strength and training of qualified people are increasingly showing a trend of the core of national development strategies, as high-quality people training base in universities, teaching and researching functions of the role of the new situation play a pivotal role. The college television media is the universities and television media both special combination of good development experience to a large extent by means of the advantages of both universities and television media properties, at the same time, the lessons in the course of its development is that no clear understanding of the special connotation.This article is dedicated to the research of a new type of university television media management mode, this management model is relying on the management of public administration thought, for the use of public management theory, the operational mechanism and management model of the colleges and universities of the television media analysis and reconstruction, in order to take into account the maximum extent of the cross tension between the television media and institutions of higher learning, and the fundamental functions of the TV media and institutions of higher learning. Public administration management-oriented basis to build a new university television media management mode will play a useful role in theoretical guidance, lessons learned, concepts and deepening, and further research experience rationale.
