Digital image watermarking technology is an important branch of date hiding technology, which has been embedded the specific significant mark into the protected image under the premise of not affecting its quality so that it can achieve the aim of the certification content and copyright protection.The single watermark is usually studied by the previous watermarking algorithm, a number of dual watermarking algorithms which usually adopt the two binary image have been developed recently, they just realize the expansion of the functions in watermarking algorithm by making use of the dual information. Such a kind of watermark not only lack of information but also not improve the robustness.This paper presents that put the algorithm embedded into watermark with a binary image and a gray image, then it designs and implements a dual digital watermarking algorithm that based on transform domain and self-restoring technology, it takes the comprehensive advantage that including both large amount of information which gray image watermark contained and the robustness of the binary image watermark, based on that, their advantage can be amplified and strengthened by introducing the self-restoring technology. Combined with the human visual system (HVS) characteristics and makes a comprehensive advantage of each transform domain algorithm. Then, it will establish the dual watermark about self-restoring association mapping and be embedded into the coefficient values of transform domain. In the end, the dual watermark can obtain a better tradeoff relation between robustness and invisibility; it will realize the blind detection as well.The simulation results indicate that the algorithm is of a better imperceptibility in visual effect and it shows a stronger robustness against conventional image processing like JPEG compression, noise, filtering, and cut, etc. All of them are done under the support of the self-restoring technology.
