Digital watermarking is the process of embedding information into the originalcarrier image which may be used to verify its authenticity or the identity of its owner.The embedded information does not affect the usage of the carrier image and is hardto be detected or modified. It is an important research direction of information hiddentechnology.Nowadays, traditional techniques cannot satisfy the requirements of the widespreads of current social digital products. In view of this situation, this paper studiesand improves some normal watermarking technology based on DCT and DWT.Meanwhile, this paper proposes a novel blind watermark technology based on DWTwavelet transform technique. This algorithm uses color-inversion of a grey watermark;the YUV color space transform of the original color image; secondary wavelettransform of Y component; wavelet transform of a grey watermark image; storing ofwavelet coefficients of the watermark image; encryption arrangement of the waveletcoefficients; embedding of wavelet coefficients of the watermark image and thecolor-inversion coefficients; The inverse wavelet transform of the embedded image tofulfill the embedding process. This algorithm uses the YUV color spacetransformation of the embedded image; secondary wavelet transformation of Ycomponent; reduction of the grey watermark image wavelet coefficients according tothe encryption arrangement; zero-filling of diagonal band wavelet coefficients of thegrey watermark image; the inverse wavelet transform of watermark waveletcoefficients to fulfill the blind extraction process. At the same time, this paper briefly discusses ICA ’s application in digitalwatermarking, and makes some simple experiments. This paper also presents someinitial application of ICA in digital watermarking. In addition to digital watermarkingalgorithm research, this paper attempts to put the application of digital watermarkingtechnology to intelligent traffic, and put forward a simple system design.The digital watermarking algorithm in this paper, which is suitable for theembedding of a grey watermark into a color carrier image, achieves blindwatermarking extraction. This algorithm is capable of resisting a wide variety ofattacks, such as JPEG compression, noise jamming, filtering and cropping attack. Andthe Intelligent transportation ant counterfeiting and resistance-to-falsification systembeing designed based on this algorithm also have good simulation experiment results.
