Forest fire is a serious natural disaster, which is a serious threat to the safety of humanlife and property. Forest fire not only bring huge loss of life and property, but also make theclimate change,air pollution, biodiversity loss and so on. Therefore, it is urgent need thatusing advanced monitoring equipment and systems to control forest fires.This paper designs a forest fire alarm system,which is a remote video monitoring systemadopting solar photovoltaic power to provide energy, WCDMA transmission mode. Thesystem does not require laying power lines and network lines, has strong expansibility. Due tousing WCDMA network for data transmission, the system has high transmission rate, reliabletransmission and real-time characteristics, wireless video monitoring with solar cells forenergy and WCDMA technology for data transmission, designs the system’s overall scheme,this paper expounds each module’s function of the system and system workflow, mainlyadopts WCDMA communication technology and solar photovoltaic power generationtechnology, fully designs hardware and software for front and behind monitoring system, anddesigns monitoring software,its each subsystem and database systems for remote monitoringcenter.The System mainly consists of SHT10temperature and humidity sensor module,smokesensor module, image sensor module,3G wireless sending module, terminal control digitalsignal processor TM1300module, and software client control center based on Visual Basicand SQLServer2000database.Under the control of the core processor, real-time monitorseach sensor data and the WCDMA wireless transmission module sends the data afterprocessing collected real-time data, the PC software makes alarm or warning after analyzingthe data.Finally, this paper makes analog simulation experiments about the data transmission,monitoring sections and solar photovoltaic power supply terminal. The results show that thedesigned system can effectively identify the fire and alarm.
