Television entertainment programs which have attracted widespread attention are exhibiting the characteristics of "intertextuality",《Super Girls》、《You Are the One》、《The Voice of China》, all of these succeed entertainment programs take advantage of the other countries’or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions’program mode as a template to successfully attract audience eyeballs. At the same time,the R&D personnel of programs absorb celebrities, and other programs text as well as the social context factors to make them become new text and meaning which adapt their society and culture, in order to strengthen and maintain the audience’s attention. The extent to understand and different use of intertextuality might make the final1form of the program showed considerable differences, therefore, use the intertextuality to research Mainland China TV entertainment programs, its significance lies not only to promote television program production, but also to outline some of the characteristics of the development of contemporary society from the side.Introduction section explains the significance of the topic, the research object, the relevant research results at home and abroad as well as the methods and thinking of this research.Chapter Ⅰ combed the theory and practices of intertextuality,and gives an overview of the intertextuality phenomena in the field of mass communication such as adaptations, sequels, cottage movies and so on. And find that the reasons why these intertextual phenomena exist,is because of the involvement of the dominant western culture, the lack of originality, the pursuit of interests as well as the deconstruction and digestion in the post-modern social context.Chapter Ⅱ and ChapterⅢtake the program 《You Are the One》 as a example to be analyzed, and find the producers use the intertextuality methods such as quote,parody,pastiche,intergrate,etc. About the content, it take advantage of discourse as the media to show the coexistence of plural values, patriarchal discourse by challenging social reality and the reality of mainstream values are valued in this program. It show the intertextual relationship between program and the entire social background through the dialogue.The epilogue point that the TV entertainment R&D personnel’s spontaneous use of intertextuality practices become consciously, intertextuality has been one of the important means of television entertainment programs’ creative production.
