The project comes from Chengdu banknote printing complex. The paper analyzesthe current situations in the DCS and PLC process automatic plate at home and abroad,getting the backwardness and advantage in the country. With the development ofcomputer technique, commnunication technique, sensor technique, the control systemplate including information and management are becoming the directional developmentof current industrial process automatic system.This paper analyzes the working principle of the traditional distribute controlsystem and the PLC system and studies the hierarchy of the control system for thecustomers requestion. All the works provide a theoretical basis for the project runningsuccessfully.According to the user’s needs, design the HMI for the control system. Itenssures that the system can work in the normal state and to keep the system statusfeedback to the user timely. The system is a automatic control plate for the products ofthe banknote paper and the advanced security paper. The system which is kernelled withSIEMENS`S7-400controller and assisted with a SIEMENS`touch panel (TP) andindustrial PC provide a good man-machine interactive bench. Through communicationwith the industrial computer (SIEMENS`PCS7), it can collect, process and analyze datawith high speed. The kind of control system not only exploits the advantage that themodern controller has the enough storage room, the simple hierarchy, high controlaccuracy and well reliability, but also makes full use of the simple hierarchy of touchpanel and the well data analyzing processing of industrial computer.We summary the history and development of the DCS and PLC. Describe theadvantage of the hierarchy of the traditional DCS and PLC, and the researchsignificance of the project.And then,describe the whole frame of the control system andmake theoretical basement for the design of the control system.According to the presentstate of man-machine interface, analyze the application and development of touch panel.It designs the hierarchy of HMI of the system. According to the modularization designidea and the feature of the process control, develop the software gross structure of thecontrol system.Describe the SFC function of the control system and introduce the usage and application of SFC through using the practical example.The final part, summary thesignificance of the project.
