With the explosive growth of the communication industry, there have been more demand for miniaturization, high integration, low-cost in T/R modules. As a new method, LTCC is widely applied to microwave and millimeter integrated circuit due to its advantage in flexibility, density, and reliability. Especially, it has provided an important method for integration of passive components. Based on LTCC, the filter and antenna are designed and studied. Besides, a c-band receiver is developed in HMIC.First of all, the development, production technics flow and design specifications of LTCC is introduced, so we can get basic knowledge of development history of LTCC and the gap between China and other countries. Besides, it also provides a reference for designers to design the LTCC layout with more manufacturability.Secondly, a two-loop resonator band-pass filter is proposed based on the theory of plane loop resonator. The realization of the dual-loop resonator is achieved by the coupling between two squares, meanwhile, according to LTCC, a filter with different ways of coupling in ports is designed. Under the common coupling way, the insertion loss is relatively high. After changing the way of port coupling properly, the performance of filter is improved. Combining the characteristic of three dimensional structure of LTCC and ring resonator, LTCC dual band-pass filter is proposed. More degree of freedom can be achieved by loaded stubs, and vertical connection structure is used in the design, which has become more simple and effective.Thirdly, based on the theory of microstrip antenna and the characteristic of ACMSA, an ultrawideb and antenna is designed. The antenna has the advantage of compactness, high gain and wide bandwidth by notching patches, designing aperture shape and adding parasitic patches. The final stimulated results revealed an impedance bandwidth from32.2to39.2GHz, and the relative impedance bandwidth is20%. And the antenna achieves a high gain of7.3dBi.Finally, a c-band three channel receiver is developed in HMIC, including design of system plan, choice of chips, microwave circuit component layout and cavity design. The design of filter, splitter,IF circuit and power supply circuit is accomplished by stimulation softwares, and the final testing results have achieved the technical specifications of the project.
