Using a computer tomanage the non-ferrous metals information, has incomparable advantages of the manualadministration. For example: the rapid retrieval, easy to find, high reliability, largememory capacity, security and good. These advantages can greatly improve theefficiency of the management of non-ferrous metals, and provide effective informationfor enterprise management decision-making.The development of global economic integration, SMEs will face severechallenges of foreign-funded enterprises and foreign products and services, comparison,foreign-funded enterprises with a more solid financial strength, management experienceand advanced technical means, therefore, if ourSMEs without the aid of advancedmanagement ideas change management concepts, and the use of information technologyto improve enterprise management level and efficiency, it will be difficult to win in theinternational competition in the future. Enterprise management, however, in manyrespects, to a large extent have to rely on information technology, and the level ofinformation for SMEs in China is still very low compared with the foreign-fundedenterprises still in its infancy. Today, computer operation and management of theincreasingly simplify the growing popularity of computer knowledge, the marketeconomy is fast changing, highly competitive enterprises to adopt the purchase ofcomputer management, inventory, sales and many other areas has become a trend andinevitable.The system design of the inventory management system based on B/S structure,using SQL Server2005and ASP.NET platform, C#as the programming language fordevelopment and design. Mainly discussed the system’s real-time quotes, purchasingmanagement, resource management, inventory management, the design of the fourmajor functional modules and achieve. Several modules to achieve the growth of thedata, delete, change, check, document review and other functions, while providing adaily report, monthly report statistical functions to facilitate the user or administrator tounderstand the functioning of the entire enterprise. The advanced design of the systemas a whole, and to provide all aspects of enterprise management information, whichessentially improve enterprise management level.The paper reflects the overall design, detailed design, database design, along with the screenshot on the system and the coresource, and reflects the system test cases and test conditions.
