In recent years, RFID technology combined with temperature sensor has come tobe a new developing trend. The passive UHF RFID tag chip with the function oftemperature sensitive which has low power consumption and long identifying distense,can be used as a kind of low cost, high stable and long service life node of IOT (InternetOf Things). It has become a research emphasis and difficulty in the field of RFID andIOT. The research has important scientific significance and engineering applicationvalue. It can be used in food, medicine, logistics and many other fields that need tocollect the temperature information of items.This dissertation focuses on researching and designing a tag chip, which based onthe ISO/IEC18000-6B standard, having the fuction of temperature sensitive. Firstly, thebackground and siginificance of the project are introduced. The working principle,category and application of RFID are summarized. The development trend, challengesand current research status of the temperature tag are introduced. The ISO/IEC18000-6B protocol is analyzed. The architecture and technical specifications of the tagchip with temperature sensor integrated are given. Secondly, the RFID tag moduledesigning is introduced. The circuit design of rectifier, regulator and clock is describedin detail, and the circuit performance simulation results are also given. The rest ofRF/analog circuit and digital baseband circuit are simply introduced. Thirdly, the designof temperature sensor module is introduced. The design scheme of temperature sensor isgiven. Temperature acquisition process is expounded. The circuit design of temperaturesensor is introduced in detail, including temperature sensing circuit, capacitorcharge/discharge circuit, camparator and pulse sampling circuit. The simulation resultsof temperature sensor are given. Lastly, the system simulation results are given. Theentire system is implemented in TSMC0.18CMOS process technology. The occupiedchip area is0.51mm2. The chip which integrates the functions of read/write, lock, querylock and temperature sensitive dissipate6uW power consumption.
