Under the mode of chemical construction contract for EPC, more and morecorporation, in order to reduce the cost, make the choice that employ managers only andemploy little construction team. In this case, the counts of the subcontractors are largely;on the other hand, the construction capacities of the subcontractors are uneventful.Along with the upgrade of the qualification of the corporation, the scale of the projectwhich can contract will enhanced, the scopes of the market will more and more widely,the count of the subcontractor will grow up quickly. Attendant increases are theexpansion of the amount of the information and data of the subcontractors. There aremany shortcake of the management style in paper, for the query of the materials is slowand the update of the data is not timely, so that, the burden of the manager will increasesharply.In this thesis, the management information system for the subcontractors aredesigned and implemented in order to resolve the problems that the management of thesubcontractors’ materials in paper is not convenient and the update of thesubcontractors’ data is not timely. In addition, the design and implementation of thesystem will largely reduce the waste of paper resource. The computer system isimplemented via ASP.NET+EXTJS+AJAX+SQL Server2008, through these efforts, theUI of the system are beautiful, the response time of the system is short-lived, and thespeed of the Access to the database is enhanced. After the testing, the computer systemhas met the need of the costumer in the aspects of functions and performance.The main works are as follows:1. Make the feasibility analysis and demand analysis for the computer system viaUML in order to understand the user’s needs. Use the general three-tier systemarchitecture to design the computer system. Divide the system into independentmodules, which reflect the low coupling and high cohesion idea. The modules weredetailed designed in the following work.2. The major modules of the computer system were achieved via Visual Studio2008+SQL Server2008toolsetc. The modules include system registry module, the module of affair types management, the module of event types management, the moduleof data dictionary management, the module of user management, the module of rolemanagement, the module of system privileges management, the module ofsubcontractors information management, the module of subcontractors’ resource andcapacity management, the module of reminder of the subcontractors’ qualificationcertificate expires, the module of reminder of the subcontractors’ safety productionlicense expires, the module of system log etc.3. The functional test to every module of the management information system forthe subcontractors of chemical construction was made. The test has proved that themodules of the system has been achieved the expect function. A stress test was made tothe system either, which proved that the system will satisfy the need of concurrentaccess. In conclusion, the system has achieved the expect targets.
