J2EE is a new technology to construct distributing system, management systems can be easily divided into four layers with J2EE technology: presentation layer, Web layer, operation logic layer and enterprise information layer (database). Presentation layer provides Web display interface to user's browser, Web layer and operation logic layer processes operation flow, and data layer stores data. It constructs an enterprise application cored by service-end computation and modulation.In customer-end level, various kinds of customer-ends can visit the J2EE service in the intermediate level by many kinds of protocols. J2EE provides a very flexible end-to-end multi-level system framework based on an open and standardized technology. With this structure, system expansibility and server effciency can be improved, developing cost can be reduced and development cycle can be shortened. The thesis puts forward the highway management information systems based on the J2EE to establish a rapid response, wisdom, flexibility, security management information system.The thesis introduces the J2EE architecture, MVC (Model/ViewlController) model, and other related concepts and technologies, and gives details of the more popular the new framework—Struts framework architecture,characteristics and the advantages and disadvantages.According to the J2EE tiered structure, with Web application features and Struts framework technologies makes opposite independence of each layer and reduces the coupling between different levels and accelerates the system development process, and can be enhanced system expansion.And then introduces a web technology hot research—Ajax.Ajax introduced asynchronous transfer technology; promote local renewable pages, enhanced user experience. Contrast to the traditional web technology like Applet, flash, Ajax don't need specialized software to be used in most popular browsers, Ajax use XMLHttpRequest to send the asynchronous request. Ajax addresses the key technologies, including javaScript, XMLHttpRequest, Dom, XML. Through Dom javaScript accesses request parameters information and uses XMLHttpRequest to send the asynchronous request, servers handling of the request, or to return to ordinary text XML, and then use JavaScript explains XML browser, Dom updated and adopted relevant UI.Through above analysis, to combine the business need of the highway management information system, to giving a system development project. Proposing the design of the framework and module of the system and carry on the related function realization.At last, the use of technology to enhances Ajax UI layer and server asynchronous communications capabilities to enable users to experience the dynamic and sensitive response to the desktop-class Web applications.
