| Since the founding of China, the public security safety has a rapid developmentand put a lot of manpower and material gathering business data to establish acomparatively perfect public security information management system in line withChinese national conditions. It signifies an important step in public security informationestablishment of Chinese public security field of the "Golden Shield Project". But, dueto many reasons, there are still a significant gap compared with foreign countries in theinformation construction of China; and with the social advancement of technology andthe enhancement of the overall quality of staff, construction of public securityinformation technology is also facing the impact and challenges. The traditional publicsecurity information management system has some shortcomings in the applicationprocess. In police work, the majority of police information is related with geospatial,such as: population distribution, the unit places, guard plans, patrol the route, policedeployment, police infrastructure, alarming and road traffic etc. So the traditional publicsecurity information management system cannot make specialization and decisionanalysis of such relevant police information.GIS technology express the absolute superiority in spatial analysis and visualization,compared with the ordinary and boring data, GIS can provide a very intuitive graphicaldisplay. Therefore, in this paper use the GIS technology applied to the public orderinformation management system, take case system as an example, use the police dataalready have, and make full use of powerful data management capabilities of GIS andspatial analysis functions to realize visual query of police information. Through theassessment of the existing business data research, make analysis of police intelligence,"hot spot" analysis and thematic map management to meet the practical work in avariety of business needs and location, make the public security services to moreaccurate, more efficient to ensure that people’s lives and property security and socialstability.The main content of this paper are: first, data collection, which is classify the policepopulation mass data and the case data through the internal logic and the way of handling research departments of public security; Second, data analysis, processing andmanagement. Using GIS map display mechanisms and spatial analysis techniques, suchas effective high-tech means, through the combination of the police geographicinformation system platform and the police command scheduling, the populationmanagement, the key areas of management, case analysis and application, makingcombination of the spatial information and special police information, showing a varietyof police work elements of the spatial distribution, monitoring the running state,analyzing the inherent correlation in the electronic map, finding out the population flow,regularity and characteristics of case distribution; Ultimately provide strong support forthe police patrol police and distribution, and to improve the case detection rate, providedata and technical support to prevent the occurrence of unexpected events. |
