In the21st century, with the network being universally used as well as thedevelopment of the network technology, the remote-control technology, to which peoplehave paid more and more attention, has been widely applied and popularized in variousindustries and areas. Modern network technology and modern communicationtechnology, both based on the internet, have also been applied universally with a fastdevelopment, which brings unprecedented impact and challenge to people’s life, study, and work. This article introduces the remote-control client software which is based onnetwork, elaborates systematically the remote-control technique, the Socket technique, and the data encryption technique. Meanwhile the article also describes the state of theart and research trends of the remote-control technique in and aboard. After that it pointsout its development direction and further explains its importance in developingnetwork-based application software. Moreover, the article analyses in detail the variousneeds of the software, and discusses its requirements and feasibility. After that the article introduces the design ideas and overall structure of theremote-control client software which is based on network. By explaining the C/Sstructure model and computer network programming technology, the article explains indetail the realization process and programming process of the software. The designedsoftware fully applies the Windows system message mechanism to its data exchangeand transmission of orders, thus ensures the realization of its function. At last, the software is tested. By testing the example and analyzing the result, wefinally succeed in designing and realizing a remote-control client software which isbased on network.
