The21st century is an era of rapid development of the RF communication thattowards the development of high-speed, large capacity, functional diversificationdirection. Antenna and power amplifier is mobile devices terminal module and thedevelopment of these modules are fully reflected in many directions. Corrugated hornantenna and power amplifier will be carry out in this paper.The main contents and research results are showing as follows:System research the relation ship between corrugated horn antenna structureparameters and the antenna radiation characteristics. The main structural parameters ofthe corrugated horn antenna are corrugated cycles,the proportion of the width and thecycle and cycle depth. First we study the standard corrugated horn antenna radiationcharacteristics. On this basis, in the case of maintain the general structure of the antennais the same, respectively research interaction effect among the seam proportionalrelationship of the width and the metal diaphragm with air in each cycle,the depth of theripple cycle with the antenna radiation characteristics. We find out that the tranditionalcorrugated horn has the radiation characteristic of the maximum gain for23dB、3dBbeamwidth less than12°、 the return loss less than-15dB and VSWR less than1.5. wepropose period Gradient corrugated horn antennas and further study of the relationshipbetween the gradient tolerance and the corrugated horn antenna radiation characteristics.The result prove that if reasonable design gradient tolerance cycle,the new horn antennagain higher than the traditional corrugated horn antenna.We make the center frequency of2.4GHz power amplifier. Test result prove thatthe amplifier operating frequency band from2.3GHz to2.5GHz, the output power about3W, gain reaching36dB, second harmonic suppression greater than32dB.
