With great achievements accomplished in the fields of video encoding, Internetsystem and the computer science, the video chatting, video conference, HDTV(Highresolution Digital TV), and other applications based on the stream media have graduallyappear in people’s daily life. And the wireless Internet plays a more and more importantrole in the stream media field. However, the packets loss or the transmission erroralways arises in the transmission of the stream media massage. Therefore a streammedia transmission system which has a good performance in delay and error-resistanceis urgently needed.In this paper, after the analysis of a model of the wireless multi-hop network and atypical channel model, a new error control scheme based on RS codes,error-CRC-erasure, is designed and a new protocol stack is presented, which includesthe physical layer, MAC layer, packets control layer, internet layer, transportation layer,error-control layer and complication layer, and has good compatibility with traditionalTCP/IP. The result of the system simulation using this protocol stack shows that whenthe channel bit error rate is in the grade of10-4, almost no error will appear in thepacket head in the process of the data transmission, then the repeat transmission will beavoided for a good performance in real-time capability. And the simulation result showsthat the received data bit error rate is under the grade of10-7, therefor a good quality intransmission will be accomplished.
