As the multimedia technology and network technology unceasing development and the third generation mobile communication system and access network matures, streaming media has become the major business of wireless communication, made wireless environment and even mobile environment in streaming media business gradually become a reality. The network heterogeneity and the end user requirements result the wireless network streaming media the ability of transmission have been limited. How to reasonable use of network resources, effective control of the wireless transmission congestion as far as possible for the user to provide satisfactory service quality, is to improve the wireless streaming media transmission service quality key problem. This article in view of the current Wireless streaming media network congestion will cause a radio channel higher packet loss rate, the larger the delay, low throughput, Spike algorithm is put Forward based on the Wireless streaming media lost package partition algorithm and WTFRC (Wireless Transportation Forward Real-time Control, Wireless transmission of real-time Control mechanism) to solve the above problems.The main researches of this thesis are as follows:(1) According to the streaming media transmission in wireless environment of packet loss rate, throughput by BER and non fixed factors and other special QoS issues, as well as wireless error packet loss and congestion packet loss situation statistics characteristics, research and put forward a kind of WTFRC algorithm.(2)In the improved WTFRC algorithm on the transmission loss is divided, according to radio transmission errors and network congestion in the two cases of loss of influence, study and put forward the application in wireless streaming media congestion control algorithm of WTFRC. This algorithm can effectively optimize the network performance is maintained with other data stream is friendly, improve the throughput of the network and have good congestion call response time.(3) In the simulate wireless network environment built up by NS2simulation tool analysis of the wireless network streaming media WTFRC algorithm for packet loss division algorithm for different congestion happens to judge the accuracy, the throughput of WTFRC model on network throughput optimization capability, and WTFRC congestion call algorithm has better ability of congestion of call. The simulation results show that, WTFRC congestion algorithm outperforms the current congestion control algorithm. WTFRC algorithm in congestion judgment accuracy, throughput, congestion is invoked in response to sex are better than those of Spike algorithm.
