With the development of Network,the Internet has penetrated into every aspect of people’s life gradually.The web services server cluster technology which can be used to establishing the network service with high scalability, high availability,high manageability, high performance, low cost and high reliability, has became the inevitable trend. Linux Virtual Server cluster technology is a method which can be used to constructing server cluster with the characteristics of easy expansion, low cost, high availability and load balancing in Linux. This paper analyzed that the relationship exists in the server cluster,load balance and LVS,then introduced the techniques and applications of building load balancing cluster. Based on the analysis and discussion of the key technologies,this paper put forward the dynamic load mechanism based on LVS/DR cluster then designed and realized it.At last,this thesis used LoadRunner to test it, then compared and analyzed the performance of cluster before improvement and cluster after improvement. The innovation or characteristics in this paper are as follows:●Using LVS/DR model as the basis and the message communication mechanism, this paper proposed the dynamic load mechanism based on LVS/DR cluster.●On the basis of the mechanism, this thesis designed the overall architecture of the dynamic load based on the LVS/DR cluster, consisting of the interaction model and procedure of module interaction. This architecture makes sure that the dynamic load information can be stored in the management module, the director can get relevant information from management module within the prescribed time interval,so that the can achieve the real time feedback of the loading information on the servers. And the director does not need to communicate with each server in the cluster system. Based on the design, this thesis aimed at the shortage of static weights and less influence factors,designed each of the modules (management module, acquisition module and adjusting module) and strategies(acquisition module strategies and strategies of adjusting module) used in this mechanism,make sure that the weights information of IPVS kernel in the director can reflect the true performance of the server and improve the throughput of the cluster system. ●This thesis realized the dynamic load mechanism based on LVS/DR cluster.●This thesis used a official website of a media company as the test case, and built the appl-ication scenario of the LVS/DR cluster, then realized the improved dynamic load mechanism.
