Based On The Design And Development B / S Structure Of College English Online Learning System

Against the background of the requirement of university English teaching, the university online English study system is a software system developed to improve teaching efficiency, reform study model, achieve scientific and standardized management. This thesis analyses the status quo of the development and trend of the university English online study systems, designs university English online study system based on B/S structure responding to the contents and the major problems in university English study and management, thus offering a solution for the informationization of university English study and management.The thesis includes the following aspects:1. It analyzes in detail the current situation, development trend and problems of the present university study and management.2. It briefly introduces the critical technologies in the design and the realization of the university online English study system, such as such as B/S mode, JSP technology, Mysql, and etc.3. It conducts an in-depth analysis on the demands of the university online English study system, such as the goals and main functions of the system, and also a usecase analysis on the designed system. It analyses the main flow based on the model.4. It designs the structure of the university online English study system, including the administer management module, teacher teaching activity design module, student study activity module and main operation interfaces. It designs the detailed process of the major sub-models under each management function of the system. It also designs the database tables of the function modules, the interface of the main login and operation interfaces of the sub-modules. It analyses the main objects based on the model.5. It designs the system and demonstrates the major interfaces of the actualized system. The feedback is satisfactory after the application of the realized system in a small scope all of author’s classes. The system accomplishes the goals that are established before, and every module functions well, meeting the needs of the university English online study system which not only enhances the work efficiency of the studying and teaching administration, but also offers references for the development of similar systems.
