Power of the active interferences received by antenna’s sidelobes may be muchmore greater than power of the useful echo signals received by antenna’s mainlobe inradar anti-interference, which decreases the signal detection performance. In general, adaptive sidelobe cancellation(ASLC)techniques are used in engineering, which formsbeam pattern nulls in the active interferences’ incident directions to suppress thejamming. With the development of the analog-to-digital converter devices and increasedcomputational power and digital signal processor, especially the functions of FPGA andDSP becoming more powerful, the large amount of computation performance algorithmimplementation becomes possible. This paper describes a multifunction radar signalacquisition and processing board based on FPGA and DSP structure, each module isdescribed in detail and debugged, with the results analyzed, works on the engineeringimplement methods of adaptive sidelobe cancellation based on DSP, including specificimplementations and procedures and experimental results are presented.
