The microwave sparse array Synthetic Impulse and Aperture radar is a new type ofradar system based on meterwave and ground wave. With the advantages of lowintercept and capture, resisting anti-radiancy missile, and strong anti-jamming, it is fitfor the radar system which has minitype, high maneuverability and high precision. Thispaper mainly analyse and study the content: including two kinds of preprocessingmethods, three kinds of synthesize impulse and aperture methods, and proposing thetwo-dimension CFAR detection method that can improve the detection property.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic theories of this radar. Following withmethods of matched filtering and digital dechirp, which are applied separately in thepreprocessing for the received signals to obtain the rough range, then study threesynthesize processing methods:3D matched filtering, IDFT Coherent synthesis andspatial domain synthetic bandwidth, simulation results and analysis are also given out. Asignal processing software is designed by MATLAB GUI, and it can successfullyachieve the function of parameter setting, preprocessing, synthesize impulse andaperture. Comparison of the three synthesize processing methods can also be done moreclearly. Finally, one-dimension CFAR detection method is extended to two-dimension.It proves that two-dimension detection method has a better detection property whenthere are multiple targets that are nearby each other in homogeneous clutter background.And two-dimension self-adaption CFAR detection method has a higher detectionprobability than that in one-dimension when there are in nonhomogeneous clutterbackground with interferences.
