Based on the operation principles and application requirement of the microwave sparse-array radar, a systematic study on related issues of digital monopulse measurement is performed in this dissertation.Firstly, this dissertation introduces the basic theory of the microwave sparse-array radar systematically, including the coordinate transformation, the waveform design and the signal processing method. Besides it gives the choice of antenna unit and the design of transmit antenna array. Secondly, this dissertation introduces the monopulse estimation algorithm. Then, it discusses theoretical algorithms in this radar mode, including the method of positive-negative synthetic pulse in distance measurement and the method of monopulse angle measurement, and precisely analyzes and demonstrates the methods which both have been proved effectively and applicably through computer simulation. Then the design and realization of the SIAR model and the tracking model in the signal processing platform software when it is off-line is completed. Finally, this dissertation analyzes the coupling effects among distance, azimuth and elevation. And the quantitative analysis of the effects on measurement accuracy is given when it has amplitude and phase errors in array elements. |
