File Sharing And Instant Communication System Based On HP2P Protocol

Along with the Internet technology development, the file sharing service and instant communication service have become some of the most popular Internet applications. The HP2P (Hierarchical Hybrid P2P) combines the virtues of structured and unstructured P2P network, such as distribution, higher stability and lower network load. However, there is no practical application based on HP2P since it is a developing protocol.This thesis mainly designs and implements a file sharing and instant communication system based on the HP2P. Firstly, it introduces the HP2P protocol, and the main technologies adopted in this system are presented, such as the reliable network communication based on UDP, NAT punch-through technologies, the multithread technology, the multichannel audio mixing technology and the audio-video codec technology. Then, this thesis gives the demand analysis, overall design and concrete design of this system, whose file sharing service supports the shared files announce, search and download without the participating of server, and instant communication service supports rich text chat and multi-people video conferences. At last, the function tests of this system are shown, making sure the availability of the file sharing and instant communication services.
