Cognitive network can sense the current status of the network, and then make decisions and take operations after perceiving the network information. Finally we can have an efficient end-to-end communication.To analyze problems in the cognitive network, we can divide the resource in the cognitive network into many independent individuals, and then manage each of them by the specific requirements. In this way, we can have a high quality communication. This paper is mainly discussing the management method of the network resource in the cognitive network. And take the link and node resource as examples. At last, realize the presentation with software.A specific management method of the network resource is made on link and node resource. First of all, the AODV protocol is used when a user is accessed any of the nodes, that means, updating the algorithm and the network resource information list by the network resource link; Secondly, make a load evaluation of the network resource by the current status of the network, so that we can classify the follow-up link resource and set the priority of the node resource; Then, an adaptive allocation algorithm is put forward by combining the centralized and distributed algorithms. According to different transmission rates by different business, the proposed algorithm can divide the link into different virtual channels, increasing the accuracy to select the channels by the comprehensive dynamic network information, and dividing the nodes into groups. This method can realize the whole optimization of the network resource, increase the throughput of the network resource, then meet the end-to-end communication goals. Finally realize the function of the resource management method in the software platform.
