The military software has the characteristics of high security and reliability. Ithas become an important part of the army’s weapons and equipment systemsstructure. Its quality will directly affect the system mission completion of the taskand the degree of safety of the system. In order to ensure the achievement of themilitary software’s characteristics of high security and reliability, the developmentprocess of the military software must be based on our military software engineeringstandards and meet the standard of RTCA DO-178B, Software Considerations inAirborne Systems and Equipment Certification.By studying the measurement and analysis techniques which meet therequirements CMMI level two, level three, as well as RTCA DO-178B standard, thethought of the integration of military development process and CMMI managementprocess is proposed. And we establish a quantitative and qualitative combined, hierarchical measurement system and analyze the process based on the main line ofCMMI process areas, combined with the characteristics of the various stages of themilitary software life cycle. An object-based software process measurement model isput forward. We also study a military software CMMI management platform practicetechnology. This platform sufficiently reflects the CMMI capability maturityintegration Model architecture, and also ensures the software process-basedmanagement and implementation in MA process area in CMMI level three. The research result of the paper will be great significant on insuring softwaredevelopment and quality in our army’s weapon equipments and implementing thestandardization and visualization of the software process. The military softwareCMMI management platform provides a complete quantitative management solutionfor ensuring the reliability and safety-critical of military embedded software duringsoftware implementation due to the integration of our research results.
