| In the IT field, each decade has a change, which will bring huge chain reaction to global business. Cloud computing, another major change of information technology, which is a new computing model after Grid computing,which has strong data storage capacity and data processing ability,and also has the advantage of economy and sharing. Therefore, Cloud computing model for embedded data terminal will be inevitably appreciated by individual consumers.In the paper by analyzing the current status quo and the future development of cloud computing, recognizing the storage capacity of personal mobile data terminal, the data transmission efficiency of GSM network and the utilization ratio of capital are low in the current, so a solution of embedded data terminal was proposed for solving those problem, based on the cloud computing. The main research contents are as follows in the thesis:(1) The basic theory of the cloud computing and the cloud computing service model were introduced, the characteristics of cloud computing was summarized, the development of3G network was introduced briefly, and the architecture of cloud computing was also researched.(2) The related knowledge of embedded system was introduced, the present problems with mobile data terminal and the future development direction of mobile data terminal were analyzed, and combined with the3G wireless communication module, Put forward to the cloud computing applications methods and implementation mechanism of the data terminal. The3G wireless network communication process was analyzed, and the3G module driver was loaded to the embedded Linux kernel, a connection between the client and the server was established via3G wireless network.(3) The network file system (NFS) was studied, and NFS server was installed successfully in a virtual machine, which can be as a simulation server. Through studying of embedded Linux development technology, the embedded Linux development platform based on the ARM9development board was established cross-compiler environment was fulfilled.(4) Researching on data transmission technology in IP-based network, the design of the client and server programs for communication terminals, realized the simulation model of embedded terminal system based on the cloud computing.At last, using the hardware and software platform of the research built, the client can read and write data to the server file, and the client can upload picture to the server and download from the server through the Socket program. The simulation results show that the desired objectives were accomplished, and the embedded data terminal has a relatively low investment cost. |
