With the development of computer technology and microprocessor technology, the field of electronics has experienced a rapid wave of digitalization. The digital control technology compared to analog control technology has many advantages such as digital signal does not drift with temperature, aging of the device, and the digital control can be achieved very complex control algorithms, witch analog control system can’t achieve.Microprocessor’s rich peripheral resources as well as the higher speed of operation make it possible to design a full digital control high-frequency switching power supply. In addition, the development of power electronics technology significantly enhanced the switching performance of the power switching devices, power consumption become smaller and smaller which are all well in high frequency power system.First, this paper describes the PWM switching power supply, switching power supply topology and working principle of the phase-shifted full-bridge topology. Phase-shifted full-bridge topology is a ZVS DC/DC converter which can work in very high reliability. This article divides the phase-shifted full-bridge topology working process into12states and each step is in detailed description. The realization of the soft switching is also given.Secondly, the hardware design process based on DSP MC56F8346digital switching power supply is argued. The switching power supply hardware circuit is divided into a main circuit, control circuit and auxiliary power circuits and each is described in detail. Some formula is given to support the key circuits design process.Then, switching power supply system software design process is introduced. The paper introduces the process of embedded software development and to build cross-compiler environment. The method of develop shift phase PWM digital is described especially in detail.Finally the debugging process is described. In the end of the paper summarizes the topics the proposed rationalization proposals and proposed ways to improve follow-up study of the subject.
