The zirconium alloy pipe is the part of a nuclear reactor core, the requirements of its straightness is very high due to its important function. According to Y40-100type automatic straightening press’s technical requirements, this thesis designed an online detection system, including the research of theoretical methods, the design of the detection device, the detection device parameter optimization, the theory of online detection system and software of online detection system. It mainly includes parts as follows:1、In this thesis, the least squares method has been used to calculate the roundness and round of zirconium alloy pipe, and verify its correctness with MATLAB software simulation experiments, Based on its technical specifications and functional requirements.2、The spring parameters and lever ratio of the detection system was optimized by using bond graph method, which can make it achieve the accuracy requirements of the online detection system. And some main factors to avoid errors had been analyzed. Detection system sensors, amplifiers and other hardware were selected, and an operating interface was designed3、Using simulation experiments to figure out the effect of different number of sampling points to the online detection system, to determine a reasonable threshold of sampling points and reduce the cost of product. Figure out the best way for axis fitting by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of B-spline fitting curve, cubic-spline fitting curve, cubic interpolation spline fitting curve, and the theory of reasonable sampling points, first propose the secondary fitting method, which can effectively reduce the fitting error, and improve effect of the online detection system.4、Check out the effect of by using Monte Carlo random number method simulation experiments and doing experiments with Y40-100type automatic straightening press. The results of the experiments show that the secondary fitting method can reach the technical requirements of the zirconium alloy pipe straightening press.
