Tire is the guarantee of the safe of driving vehicle. Dynamic balance, out-of-roundness etc. are important factors affecting the safety, reliability, stability, comfort and high-efficiency of vehicles under high speed. Therefore, the quality measurement system for tire's dynamic balance and out-of-roundness is extremely important to enhance tire's quality and improve the vehicle's driving quality through balance-weight. The subject is a cooperation program with Double Star Rubber Machinery Corporation. According to the actual subject needs, research work is done mainly in lower computer control system's software and hardware design. Main contents of the thesis are as follows:Analyzing the development status of dynamic balance and out-of-roundness of tyre both at home and abroad about the measuring technique, this paper presents a kinetic model of dynamic balance measurement called " tire-rim-spindle", giving the calibration principle and measurement model of tire dynamic unbalance, introducing the calculate method of static unbalance and couple unbalance, describing the hardware constitution of this detection system.Base on overall consideration of current detection technique and online measuring equipment about tire quality, this paper presents the overall scheme of the detection system.According the analysis model of dynamic balance detection, the composition and function of the mechanical structure of the system is described in detail and the process and action sequence are determined. Based on the designed mechanical system schemes and structures of online measuring, as well as functional requirements, technical parameters performance requirements, logic motion control and network communication of overall machine system, detailed hardware and software design of the system of the lower computer are accomplished.In hardware configuration, the system takes Mitsubishi Q-Series multi-CPU system constituted of Q02HCPU and Q172HCPU as the control core. The system adopts the position module QD75MH2, motion controller Q172H CPU and its extended module Q172LX of Mitsubishi to realize the precise position control of the nine servo axles. Based on the man-machine interface of Mitsubishi touch screen GT1500, function interface for realizing all operations of the overall machine is developed. In network configuration, the system constitutes Ethernet by using QJ71E71-100 module to realize the communication between upper computer (Industrial Personal Computer) and lower computer (PLC), and uses QJ61BT11N module constituting CC-LINK to realize the communication between PLC main station and remote substation of the system's each functional location. According to the measurement process flows of measuring system, the GX-Developer, MT-Developer and GT-Designer programming software are applied to the development of PLC program for automatic online measurement machine of the tire's dynamic balance and out-of-roundness, SFC program for servo control and friendly man-machine interface operation program.The online detection system of tire quality based on Mitsubishi Q-Series has sophisiticated automatic control function, friendly man-machine interface, powerful data processing ability and communication function. It achieves the function demands of requirements auto lubrication, measurement, marking, grading and so on. The online measurement system of load tire quality based on PLC has been applied successfully in actual production practice. Indicated by the actual production and measurement results, the system operates stable and reliable. Its measurement accuracy is very high and its measurement repeat precision of static imbalance value can reach±2%, the degree fluctuation can be less than 5°and the repeat precision of out-of-roundeness is not more than 0.05mm. Some key technologies in the test are researched. At the same time, suitablity and applicability of the system are extended according to customer requirements and actual situation.The research of this detection system solves the technique problems in tire production industry. It plays an important role in controlling the tire quality of cargo trucks in engineering practice, it also with great strategic significance to improve the driving quality of load tire.
