Biometrics identification technology is used for identity authentication through measuring body characteristics or human behavior with automatic measurement technology. It compares the characteristics with template data in database to do the authentication. As one of the human characteristics, fingerprint has the stability, universality and peculiarity and it’s easy to collect. Therefore, fingerprint recognition is a very important subject in biological characteristics identification. Fingerprint acquisition is the most important part in fingerprint recognition. In this process, we need to preprocess the collected fingerprint, remove the noise to keep feature points. I completed a set of fingerprint acquisition system design and implementation.The main research contents of this paper include the following aspects.1) Introduces the performance of the system used TMS320DM6446processor and fingerprint sensor FPS200. According to FPS200datasheet, design the system acquisition module in USB mode and finish the design and production of required circuit.2) Build embedded Linux operation system environment, install and transplant the OS into SEED-DVS6446platform, configure environment variables.3) Illustrate the position of USB driver in the operating system, and its working principle. Then write the driver according to the designed system, realize the identification of acquisition module, open and read function. At last, transplant it into embedded platform.4) Install and transplant Qt/E into SEED-DVS6446platform, design application interface using Qt, the operation of the driver is realized through the interface.5) Summarize the commonly used fingerprint pattern calculation methods, compare their advantages and disadvantages. Denoise and enhance images with the method of partial differential equation based on direction. Add fidelity term in the equation to solve the problem of processed image detail characteristics lost.Finally, this paper puts forward problems in the system remains to be perfect, and points out the next step work direction.
