Fingerprint Identification System Based On Fps200

Biometrics is the development direction of the future identification technology. Automatic fingerprint identification is one of the most reliable and effective biometric technologies, its more secure and reliable comparing with traditional identification technology.In this paper, biometric technologies and automatic fingerprint identification system are briefly introduced. The application of automatic fingerprint identification technology is also mentioned. It also introduces the operating principles of the fingerprint sensor. The hardware design and software development of fingerprint acquisition system based on chip FPS200 is detailed described.It introduces algorithms that are frequently used in fingerprint image processing. Some processing algorithms that adapt to fingerprints acquired by FPS200 are studied. Finally, an experiment is carried out to prove the effectiveness of our fingerprint image processing algorithms and it did.
