In modern warfare, Camouflage with color as a common approach has enjoyed great attention both from countries around the world as well as domestic researchers at home.Starting from the requirement and statusquo of camouflage project design, this article has designed and implemented a generation system for designers of camouflage project in visible band. The system mainly contains two aspects:First, the topography-oriented the military camouflage Engineering generation; weaponry mobile target-oriented camouflage. The system implements several procedure, like extracting colors, analyzing camouflage spots, aiding with classic as well as digital morphing color design, camouflaging scenes based on image repairing, and coordinating2D and3D camouflage pattern design based on3D models.In this paper, in the camouflage color extraction work, a quantized color histogram-based approach is introduced to extract the main representative of the statistical background color; a clustering method based MeanShift is used to get the background image distribution for camouflage spots shape analysis;In face of the easy to detect objects against the background image we designed a the scene disguised method based on image repairing tech, resulting a more real scene in camouflage simulation. In addition, in order to precise target model camouflage matte to CAD,3D integration technology for achieving a camouflage pattern of the three-dimensional model of the three-dimensional linkage design, not only be able to accurately model the on camouflage, as well as the construction generate production drawings.Finally, we design and implement the visible band-oriented camouflage project generation system using VS2008, open source library like Qt, OpenGL, Open Inventor, vcglib etc.
